The brand story
“Be happy. Be 272° smile”
Choco Teddy began in 2006 under Choco Teddy Brand Management Co., Ltd. with a simple idea: a smile turned up a little further than expected. The brand's signature 272° smile stands for sharing happiness in every product we make.
What started as a single bear character grew into retail stores, mall exhibitions across China and five product lines sold through gift channels at home and overseas — always designed by our own studio in Guangzhou.
Meet the bearA little magic master from the Chocolate Planet. His chocolate-coloured skin brings to mind the happiness that chocolate brings — playful and warm-hearted, he is always passing on positive energy.

Choco Teddy Brand Management Co., Ltd. creates Choco Teddy and its signature 272° smile in Guangzhou.
2018
Stores & 50+ mall exhibitions
By 2018 the brand was running its own retail stores — including the Fashion Tianhe flagship in Guangzhou — and had staged more than 50 mall art exhibitions across China.

Thousand Bears Art Project
More than 3,000 creators joined the project, hand-painting over 1,000 one-of-a-kind Choco Teddy art bears.

OEM & ODM
OEM & ODM, built around your brief
Character and design, size, fabric and quantity are all open to discussion. Send us your concept or a reference, and we will reply with feasibility, sampling steps and a quotation.
How production works: custom plush orders are moulded and produced by our partner factories. Choco Teddy leads the design, sampling and quality control, and checks the finished goods before packing.
Checked at every step
Production is carried out by our partner factories; Choco Teddy runs the quality control. Consistent quality is what lets a cute product survive a container ship and a year on the shelf — and our checks cover the full journey, from incoming materials to final packing.
Material inspection
We check incoming PVC, ABS and silicone materials against the approved sample at the partner factory, before production starts.
Batches that do not match the approved sample for colour or hardness do not enter production.
In-process checks
Our QC team samples paint, print alignment and assembly at the partner factory during production, so defects are caught early — not at your warehouse.
Face paint and logo printing get extra sampling — on a character product, the face is the product.
Safety-first mindset
Small parts, paint and finishes are reviewed with export-market toy safety expectations in mind.
Tell us your market's requirements at inquiry stage and we confirm the applicable testing before production.
Final inspection & packing
Finished goods pass a final check, then are packed to the published carton specification for safe export.
Display box, inner box and outer carton counts are verified against the series specification sheet your order was quoted on.
Packing standards
Retail display boxes are packed to the published per-carton specification of each series, with carton marks matched to your order documents.
Export documentation
Packing lists and carton details are prepared with the shipment, so your warehouse knows what arrives before it arrives.
Licence paperwork
Miffy collections are produced under licence; licence documentation is available on request for your channel review.
